Our Story
Elevate Quality Advisory Group provides board-level advisory support to aged care and NDIS providers navigating heightened regulatory scrutiny and governance reform.
We specialise in strengthening clinical governance, risk oversight and operational assurance — supporting alignment with the Strengthened Aged Care Standards, the new Aged Care Act and NDIS Commission expectations.
We work directly with Boards and Executive teams to identify governance risks and deliver defensible frameworks, meaningful reporting and practical assurance mechanisms that enhance oversight beyond compliance.
About Gerri
Gerri is a Registered Nurse and experienced executive leader, and currently serves in Non-Executive Board Director roles in residential aged care and home care, and with the Alpha-1 Organisation of Australia.
Gerri's governance, clinical, regulatory, education, and audit background — combined with lived experience in complex health systems — supports a practical, whole-of-service approach to quality, risk, and safe care.

About Des
Des Trindall is a General Manager and Lead Auditor with more than 35 years of experience spanning leadership, business management, regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
His career has included service in the Australian Army, leadership roles in banking and financial services, business ownership, racehorse training and regulatory compliance with the Queensland Racing Integrity Commission. This breadth of experience provides a practical understanding of governance, risk management and operational performance across a range of industries.
Des is a qualified Lead Auditor, having completed internationally recognised training in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 19011. He is passionate about helping organisations strengthen quality systems, improve governance and achieve sustainable compliance through practical, risk-based auditing.
As General Manager of Elevate QA Group, Des leads business operations, conducts audits and contributes to the development of innovative education and training solutions that support organisations to achieve lasting quality improvement.
Beyond the Office
Des is a passionate age-group triathlete and advocate for healthy ageing. As the current Queensland Triathlon Series Age Group Champion and an Australian Age Group Team representative, he believes the principles of preparation, resilience and continuous improvement are just as important in business as they are in sport.
